Hydrothermal synthesis of zeolite HSZ-30 based on kaolin

Abstract We were the first to study natural kaolin and, on its basis, obtained a zeolite of HSZ-30 type. As samples selected Pakhtachinsky containing 68.8% mordenite (Ca 2,2 Na 2,1 K 2,9 Al 9,3 Si 42 , 2 O 98 ·36H O) and 31.2% quartz (SiO ). The sample was thoroughly washed with distilled water dried at 120 ° C for 6 days. Hydrothermal synthesis carried out in Mori type autoclaves volume 20 cm3. Optimal conditions obtaining type: temperature C, concentration thermal solution N, processing time IR spectroscopic studies Nicolete IS-10 spectrometer (Thermo Scientific, USA) frequency range 400…5000 cm −1 . phase chemical composition initial final products determined by X-ray (2D PHASER «Bruker» (CuKa – radiation, 2Θ = 20-80°) elemental (Launch Trition XL ditution refrigerator Oxford instrument) methods analysis. article presents results influence hydrothermal (H O/Si ratios precursor mixtures temperatures) crystal size morphology.
